Kryptoro Pro — Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 September 2026
These Terms apply to your use of Kryptoro and to your purchase of Kryptoro Pro. Please read them before you subscribe. By creating a Kryptoro account, or by purchasing Kryptoro Pro, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
Kryptoro is provided by Vimi Pussewala Hewage, a Norwegian enkeltpersonforetak (sole proprietorship), org. no. 929 487 125, Blakstadmarka 26, 1386 Asker, Norway ("Vimi", "we", "us").
Kryptoro is aimed at private individuals (consumers) who need to calculate figures for their Norwegian crypto tax reporting. Nothing in these Terms is meant to reduce the statutory protections you have as a consumer under Norwegian law.
2. The Service
Kryptoro is a web application that helps you calculate Norwegian crypto tax figures — capital gains, losses, income and wealth — from the transaction records you enter or import yourself. Once your figures for a tax year are complete, you can finalize that year into a locked report. A finalized report keeps the figures it was created with, even if you later add or change other data in your account.
Finalizing a tax year requires an active Kryptoro Pro subscription or an active free trial (Sections 4–5). Entering, reviewing and editing your own transaction data, and viewing your current, unfinalized figures, does not require Kryptoro Pro.
3. Your account
You need a Kryptoro account to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us as soon as possible if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
4. Free trial
New accounts get a 30-day free trial of Kryptoro Pro automatically, starting when your account is activated. We do not ask for any payment details to start the trial.
The trial does not turn into a paid subscription automatically. If you do nothing, your ability to finalize a new tax year is switched off when the trial ends, and you are not charged anything. To keep finalizing after the trial, subscribe to Kryptoro Pro as described below.
5. Kryptoro Pro subscription and prices
- Monthly plan: 90 NOK per month, all charges included.
- Annual plan: 900 NOK per year, all charges included (the same as 10 months at the monthly price).
Prices are in Norwegian kroner (NOK) and include all charges. Vimi is currently not registered in the Norwegian VAT Register (Merverdiavgiftsregisteret), so no VAT is added to the price (merverdiavgiftsloven § 2-1). If our VAT status changes, we will update these Terms and our invoices accordingly; the price you pay will not increase as a result of that change alone.
6. Payment and automatic renewal
Subscriptions are paid through Stripe, our payment provider, using the payment method you add. Your subscription renews automatically for one further period — monthly or annual, matching your plan — unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will give you notice before each renewal.
You can view your invoices and manage your payment method at any time in the billing portal, available from your account settings.
7. Changing plans
You can switch between the monthly and annual plan at any time in the billing portal. Your new price and billing interval apply as shown in the billing portal when you make the switch.
8. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time, free of charge, in the billing portal. Cancelling takes a single confirmation step.
When you cancel, you keep full Kryptoro Pro access — including finalizing reports — until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not give partial refunds for the unused part of a period you have already paid for. You can subscribe again at any time.
Your statutory right of withdrawal (Section 10) is separate from cancellation.
9. Late or failed payment
If a renewal payment fails, we will try to collect it again and let you know. While a payment is outstanding, you cannot finalize a new tax year. Access is restored automatically as soon as the payment succeeds.
10. Right of withdrawal (angrerett)
As a consumer, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the moment you enter into a subscription agreement with us (angrerettloven § 20).
Because Kryptoro Pro is a digital service made available to you immediately on purchase, we ask for your explicit consent to this on the payment page when you subscribe.
- If you do not give this consent, your right of withdrawal stays open for 14 days from the date of purchase, and you can cancel and receive a full refund within that period.
- If you do give this consent, by ticking the box on the payment page before completing your purchase, you confirm that you want the service to start immediately, and you acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is lost once the service has been provided (angrerettloven § 22, first paragraph, letter b).
The free trial needs no payment details and is not a purchase. The purchase agreement, and any right of withdrawal, starts only when you subscribe.
11. What happens when Kryptoro Pro access ends
Whether your trial has ended, your subscription has been cancelled, or a payment has failed, these always stay available to you:
- your account and all your transaction data;
- your current, unfinalized figures; and
- every tax year you already finalized — you can view it at any time.
What you lose, until you subscribe again or bring a payment up to date, is only the ability to finalize a new tax year.
12. Not tax advice — your responsibility
Kryptoro calculates figures for Norwegian crypto tax purposes based solely on the transaction data you enter or import. Kryptoro does not independently verify that data, and does not give individual tax or legal advice.
You are responsible for making sure your data is complete and correct, and for what you report to Skatteetaten. A finalized report is a calculation aid, not a substitute for your own judgment or independent professional advice.
Some activity is not calculated by Kryptoro, including derivatives, NFTs, loans, hard forks, cross-chain bridges, liquidity pools, and losses from an exchange bankruptcy or fraud. A tax year that contains any of it can't be finalized, so an incomplete year is never presented as final.
13. Availability and changes to the Service
We aim to keep Kryptoro available and working as described, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may carry out maintenance, fix bugs, or change or discontinue individual features. If a change materially reduces the core functionality you pay for, we will give you reasonable notice.
14. Our liability
We provide Kryptoro Pro with reasonable care and skill, and we are responsible for the Service working as described in these Terms, consistent with the Norwegian Digital Services Act (digitalytelsesloven). Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under that Act, or under other mandatory Norwegian consumer law, to have a defect corrected, to a price reduction, or to end the agreement.
Beyond those mandatory rights, our liability for direct financial loss from your use of the Service is limited to what you paid us for Kryptoro Pro in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, or for additional tax, penalties or interest charged by Skatteetaten or any other authority as a result of what you chose to report.
These limits do not apply to loss caused by our gross negligence or intent, or where a limitation is not permitted under mandatory Norwegian law.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms, for example to reflect a change in the law, in our VAT status, or in how the Service works. If a change is material, we will tell you by email or in the app with reasonable notice before it takes effect. If you don't accept a material change, you may cancel before it takes effect (Section 8).
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Norwegian law.
If a dispute arises, please contact us first at support@viminorge.com. If we can't resolve it between us, you may bring the matter to Forbrukerrådet for mediation and, if it is still unresolved, to Forbrukerklageutvalget.
As a consumer, you always keep your right to bring proceedings before the courts where you live (tvisteloven § 4-4).
